The llama is a member of the camel family. It is a beast of burden in Peru and other parts of South America. Llamas are very amusing animals...they are gentle and curious. What is amusing is their curiosity and their facial expressions. How did we ever get along without them? The calm, gentleness of their being is very healing. Llamas are also very good with children and are easy for children to handle. We have a wide variety of llamas. We have llamas that we show at area wide shows, we have llamas that we enjoy as pets, and we also have some that we use for packing through trails, and then of course we have our wonderful livestock guard llamas.
