Birds

Here at the Lucky Me Ranch we raise 2 types of chickens. We have Silky Chickens (pictured at the top) that we just adore! They have the sweetest personality of any breed we have had-they are very friendly and even make great pets and are easy for children to handle and show. We have whites, blacks,and sometimes we will have some dark browns. We always have some for sale and if we don't, then we take deposits on babies.

Another breed that we have are Japanese Bantams (middle picture). They are very bright and colorful and they are great chickens as well! Neither one of these breeds has agressive roosters which is one of the things we like about them both!

We also raise Fancy White Doves and Ringneck Doves. We sell these as well and they make wonderful pets, very sweet, and their "cooing" noise is so soothing! We have even sold quite a few to people for weddings which is really beautiful!
